This was initially just gonna be a refined concept art sketch but I ended up over-detailing it so… I just converted it into a proper reference sheet LOL
My stupid robot plane thing daughter <3 she’s like 30% angsty war trauma and 70% Cybertron’s biggest girlfailure and I love her for that

“A close friend to Thundercracker, Quickeyes has a strong passion for art. Before the war, the two had dreamed of making stories together, but these hopes were cut short when war swept across Cybertron.
Quickeyes found herself troubled when she was eventually driven to join.
Her views and opinions led her to begrudgingly side with the Autobots, a decision she never felt sure of as it conflicted with many of her connections. She continued to uphold her friendship with Thundercracker as best she could despite being on opposing sides.

Ever the pacifist, Quickeyes only ever took lookout and patrol duties, but as the war progressed, she inevitably became more involved in conflict.

Several hundred years in, she and her closest friend were eventually pitted against each other. Quickeyes hid behind heaps of rubble in hopes to avoid the fighting, and Thundercracker saw the chaos as an opportunity to speak to her again unnoticed.
The skittish and anxious bot reacted quickly to the approaching sound, mistaking her friend for a threat and shooting him point-blank in the face.
Terrified of what she had done, Quickeyes powered herself down for the remainder of the war, no longer wishing to have the capacity to hurt anyone, regardless of their relationship to her.

Finally woken up by Primus’s signal for all Cybertronians to return home, Quickeyes immediately sought to reconnect with her old friend, who she was elated to learn had left the Decepticons and taken up a more peaceful life. She herself opted to leave the Autobots, having been absent for millions of years and no longer wanting to associate herself with the war.

In present day, Quickeyes resides on the planet Earth. She is endlessly fascinated by Earth’s fauna and has developed a love for human culture- particularly their music- as well as a passion for the arts, and assists with the set design of Thundercracker’s movies.”
